⦁ Half a cup yogurt
⦁ 1.5 tablespoon flour
⦁ I diced onion
⦁ 1 green or red pepper

⦁ Cut the chicken into pieces or cubes suitable to be skewered later. Put them in a large bowl and leave them aside.
⦁ Let’s now prepare the marinade. It is a key step that guarantees great flavor and texture. In a bowl or a blender, add the yogurt and all the other ingredients together and mix very well. Cover the bowl and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours. If possible, leave it overnight to allow the chicken to get all the nice flavors. In restaurants, they usually marinate chicken tikka overnight.
- Get the chicken tikka out of the fridge and cook the chicken. You can cook it using a grill, a barbecue or an oven. To grill it, prepare a tray with a foil piece on it, then put a rack on top. Now, put the chicken cubes on skewers and you can also add some cubed vegetables to get grilled with the chicken pieces. Now, everything is ready to go into the oven. Grill the chicken in a pre-heated oven for about 15 minutes. After that, brush the chicken cubes with the marinade and grill for another 15 minutes. This lets the chicken tikka stay moist, not dry. Then brush chicken tikka with oil and leave them for about 2 minutes. Now, check if they are done and get them out of the oven.
